Brandon Bernick

Personal Trainer

After completing my degree in Fitness Lifestyle Management at George Brown College, I began my career at the TAC in 2011.

Since joining the team, I've had the pleasure of working with an amazing group of clients that encourage me to be the best personal trainer I can be. I have extensive experience training an array of clients with varying experience levels, athletic goals, and injury concerns. My educational background provides me with the tools to create customized training regimens that effectively treat, motivate, and achieve each client’s unique goals.

Whether you are working towards removing debilitating back pain after golf, improving metabolic fitness for your first 5K run, or recovering from a shoulder or hip replacement, my skill set and professional experience will be able to assist you in effectively achieving your fitness goals.

Training Philosophy:

My fundamental approach to training starts with each individual client. The million dollar question at the start of each session is "what does your body need today and will it make you better prepared for tomorrow?" With this ideology, I can effectively analyze and assess the priorities that your body needs. Using a holistic, well-rounded, and thoughtful approach I'll work with you to develop a clear and manageable program that is appropriate for your goals.

How you move, eat, think, and feel are all individual variables in your fitness journey. These things are all interconnected into one amazing system that we call our body. It becomes very tricky to solve any problems if we use a generalized or cookie cutter approach on an incredibly unique system. I'm asked all the time "what exercise is the best for <insert injury here>, or what should I do if <insert pain here>"? The answer always circles back to - it depends. Your body is unique and your training program should reflect that.

I also respect and appreciate that the fitness and wellness process is not linear. Chances are, difficulties will present themselves, but that is part of the process. With my guidance, natural desire to coach, and positive outlook, I'll be by your side every step of the way.
