Living Well

To make yourself a priority. To take care of yourself. To begin anew. To start to regain any fitness, strength, vitality, centeredness, joy you may have let slide the past few months.

Your life is likely more chaotic then ever. So, we’re going to move with small steps. And we’re going to walk along with you every step of the way. 

The small things you can adjust are numerous. We’re going to dive into our favourites: The pillars of health we think are the most powerful as well as the most accessible. We’ll talk a little about some of the reasons why adjusting these behaviours are beneficial. Knowing and being reminded of these things is interesting, but more to the point motivating. We want you to be motivated.

We will make easy, specific recommendations for what you can do to start to shift your behaviours, your body and, therefore, yourself – along the continuum towards optimal fitness, health, and fulfillment. We want you to be hopeful.

Some of the behaviours and steps will resonate with you. Those are the ones you are going to commit to. Some of them will not. You can place those on the back burner for later. (Never underestimate the power of a low simmer, kept just within reach. You will be able to easily access that change when you are ready.) Start with the one behaviour that seems most relevant, interesting, or manageable. One step at a time. One day at a time. We want you to be successful.

Here’s a sneak peak of some of the health pillars we’re going to review:

  • Exercise – Aerobic, anaerobic, resistance, and mobility-based movement
  • Posture
  • Recovery
  • Nutrition
  • Alcohol
  • Mindfulness
  • Hope
  • Gratitude

We’re going to tackle it all from the vantage point of our own biased expertise. We are thinkers, yes. But ultimately, we are movers and do-ers. We will be as practical and action based as possible. We want you to move and be moved.
