Matt grew up and learned to play squash in Regina, Saskatchewan. He attended Cornell University from 2002 to 2006, where he was thrice named to the All-Ivy team, as well as earning All American honours 3 times.
Matt competed on the PSA Tour for 10 years – from 2006-2016 – where he reached a career high of #106 in the world. During that time, he was on the Canadian National team, where he represented Canada twice at the Pan-American Championships.

TEACHING STYLE:
Matt works with players of all backgrounds and skill levels, helping them to achieve their squash goals – however big or small those may be. By emphasizing the development of strong basic technique, movement patterns, and tactic, Matt has transformed the play of a diverse range of players – from young high performance athletes to older amateurs.
