Squash

A game you'll get passionate about.

Squash is so fun and exciting to play that you can almost forget how good it is for your mind and body. It's a game that you may never perfect, but you can get close.

Our squash professionals will help you to refine your game in one-on-one sessions, and our tournaments and leagues will allow you to get on the courts as much as you like. No matter your skill level, you'll be welcomed into the family. This is one of the best squash experiences available in downtown Toronto.

heartbeat Frequency

How often you play squash depends on you and your fitness. Many Members play 2 - 3 times per week, while others train almost every day. However, you can play too much. Be sure you're taking enough rest to avoid injury.

FAQ

How many courts do you have?

We have 4 squash courts that are 21 ft. wide by 32 ft. long. Our courts, located on the 37th floor, are accompanied by a comfortable lounge, perfect for socializing before, during, and after your game.

What do I wear? Are eye-guards necessary?

Non-marking court shoes (meaning the sole of the shoe is very soft, the softer the sole, the less marking they are) are mandatory. Eye guards are strongly recommended. As for attire, typical fitness clothing works well.

Do I need to book a court ahead of time or can I just drop in?

We offer online booking for our squash courts. If there is a specific time you would like to play, we recommend you book 4 to 7 days in advance. If you are more flexible, you would be able to drop in at off-peak times to play. The primetime courts are weekdays 7:30am, from 11:30am to 12:50pm, and from 5:00pm to 6:50pm.

How do I sign up for Squash at the TAC?

If you're already a TAC Member, please contact Josh. If you're not a Club member, we encourage you to book a tour with our Membership team at your earliest convenience by clicking here or calling the Club.

How do I sign up for ladders, championships, tournaments, house league, etc.?

If you are already a Squash Member at the TAC, please contact Josh to sign-up for these programs. If you are not a Squash Member and would like to become one, please contact Josh. If you are not a Club Member, please book a tour with our Membership team.

Instruction from our squash pros has proven to be invaluable.

After having decided to return to playing competitive squash following a serious knee injury, I knew my routine had to change. Integrating personal training into my weekly squash regiment together with regular on-court instruction from our squash pros has proven to be invaluable. My current position at #1 on the Club squash challenge ladder is not an accident.
