Squash is so fun and exciting to play that you can almost forget how good it is for your mind and body. It's a game that you may never perfect, but you can get close.
Our squash professionals will help you to refine your game in one-on-one sessions, and our tournaments and leagues will allow you to get on the courts as much as you like. No matter your skill level, you'll be welcomed into the family. This is one of the best squash experiences available in downtown Toronto.

We all know that the length of squash games can vary dependent upon the skill of the players, the temperature of the courts, and the scoring system that is used. On average:
One of the best ways to become a better squash player is for you to become fitter. Consider trying circuit training, where you'll work a variety of muscles and improve your aerobic and anaerobic fitness. Also, try to incorporate yoga and Pilates into your training schedule.
How often you play squash depends on you and your fitness. Many Members play 2 - 3 times per week, while others train almost every day. However, you can play too much. Be sure you're taking enough rest to avoid injury.
Our House Leagues offer a great opportunity for our Members to get onto the court and into a match every week, meeting other Members around the same skill level. Members are placed in a box with similarly skilled players and a match is arranged for you each Monday, based upon your and your opponent's availability.
Each year, we host a variety of tournaments and championships including: Calcuttas, Club Championships, the Canada Cup, and the Goodfellow Classic. These events will welcome Canada's best squash players to the Club, while others will feature Members and amateurs from around the city.
A weekly, drop-in program that invites Members of all skill levels to come and play against each other. This is a fun and inclusive opportunity for Members to meet and spend some quality time on the courts.

This League features various Clubs in Toronto taking turns hosting and competing against each other. It offers an opportunity to play in a fun, social, and competitive environment.
The Club plays host to some of Squash Canada's National team members. These players complete their day-to-day training here at the Club, preparing for their local, national, and international competitions.
In order to play your best, you need the best equipment. We have an array of products available onsite that can be suited for you. If we don't have what you're looking for, let us know and we can order it. We also offer racquet stringing.
How many courts do you have?
We have 4 squash courts that are 21 ft. wide by 32 ft. long. Our courts, located on the 37th floor, are accompanied by a comfortable lounge, perfect for socializing before, during, and after your game.
What do I wear? Are eye-guards necessary?
Non-marking court shoes (meaning the sole of the shoe is very soft, the softer the sole, the less marking they are) are mandatory. Eye guards are strongly recommended. As for attire, typical fitness clothing works well.
Do I need to book a court ahead of time or can I just drop in?
We offer online booking for our squash courts. If there is a specific time you would like to play, we recommend you book 4 to 7 days in advance. If you are more flexible, you would be able to drop in at off-peak times to play. The primetime courts are weekdays 7:30am, from 11:30am to 12:50pm, and from 5:00pm to 6:50pm.

Instruction from our squash pros has proven to be invaluable.
After having decided to return to playing competitive squash following a serious knee injury, I knew my routine had to change. Integrating personal training into my weekly squash regiment together with regular on-court instruction from our squash pros has proven to be invaluable. My current position at #1 on the Club squash challenge ladder is not an accident.
Our head squash professional, Josh McDonald, is passionate about the game. He can introduce you to the sport, help you to build and hone your skills, and take your game to the next level.
