Canada Day. The national day of Canada. On July 1st we celebrate the anniversary of the enactment of the Constitution Act in 1867, which brought the colonies of Canada (which split into Ontario and Quebec), Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick together.

It’s a day to celebrate our country, our home, our freedom… Usually, it would be a day filled with barbecues, fireworks, parades, and community celebration. This year, things will look different. Fireworks displays will be watched on our phones. Families will gather for barbecues over Zoom. Parades will have to wait for next year. But that won’t stop us from celebrating Canada.

I’m proud to be Canadian. Proud of what this country stands for. Proud of the diversity it fosters. Proud. And thankful.

Classes of the Day

Today we’ve got a couple of classes on the schedule.

Mobility & Muscle with Lauren

Today, Lauren – who is stepping in for Matt – is ready to bring you your lunchtime pick-me-up! This class will focus on the shoulder, hip, and ankle, moving you through a full range of motion. There will be additional stability work for the glutes and core included!

Recommended equipment: two pillows, chair

On Core with Garth

Garth’s back with another week of On Core, where you’ll challenge your core and stabilize your trunk in just 30 minutes!

Recommended equipment: light/medium dumbbell or weighted object (water bottle, book, etc.)
