We incorporate movements and drills to activate and strengthen your muscles, all while highlighting new movements and circuit styles utilizing our latest, modern equipment.

What is the Strength Lab?

The Strength Lab has been designed to be a dynamic conditioning space. While the Lab has many options available to our Members, its two main training focal points are:

  • To offer a space where Members can enhance their training through greater movement, dynamic lifting, and more diverse cardio options
  • To provide a space where trainers can teach 1-on-1 as well as Small Group Training, adding a new element to their strength, power, and metabolic conditioning programs

Should a workout in the Strength Lab supplement or replace the workout I'm already doing?

Like any well-designed workout program, doing the same thing over and over again generally does not do enough for the body to truly see the results you're looking for. Adding a new style of training to your program can be what helps to get you passed your fitness goal hurdles. The Strength Lab allows Members to access different kinds of exercise equipment, modalities, and training styles. 

I've never used the Strength Lab before, can I still attend Small Group Training classes?

Our Small Group Training classes are inclusive for participants of all fitness levels, but some classes may be more appropriate for beginners. If you are new to this style of training, please contact Brandon, and he will help you to choose the perfect first class to attend.

How early should I arrive before my class?

If you're new to the class, please arrive 5 minute beforehand. This will give the instructor enough time to introduce themselves and get you familiar with the class' style.

Is there an additional cost for Small Group Training?

Yes, there is an additional fee for participation in our Small Group Training classes. Members can purchase a block of 6 sessions for $210+HST or purchase them on a one by one basis for $40+HST/class. With your purchase of 6 sessions, that will guarantee your enrollment in the class you have chosen. Each class will be subject to availability, with the max participation of 6 members per class.

How do I sign-up for Small Group Training?

If you're already a Toronto Athletic Club Member, please contact Brandon. If you're not a Club member, we encourage you to book a tour with our Membership team at your earliest convenience by clicking here or calling the Club.
