Katie’s passion for swimming began at a young age and it continues to her favourite form of exercise. If you are looking for a great workout that increases your strength and improves cardiovascular endurance, swim training is for you! Whether you are new to swimming and looking to learn proper stroke technique, or an experienced swimmer looking to achieve new goals, she can provide you with the tools necessary to derive the best possible experience from your swimming. Many years of coaching experience has given her the knowledge and ability to tailor each session to your personal needs and goals. Her aim is to create a positive and energetic environment to make your time in the water enjoyable and incredibly rewarding.
Katie is a firm believer in laying down the foundations of proper stroke technique to ensure her clients are swimming as efficiently as possible while also preventing injury. She recognizes that all of her clients have differing levels of experience with swimming and ensures that each of them get individualized plans to challenge them to improve and work towards their goals.
Katie is currently pursuing the “Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine” degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and loves teaching at TAC in her spare time. She strongly believes that physical activity is an essential part of a balanced and happy life.
