Ronald quickly developed an affinity with the water at a young age, furthering that passion by pursuing competitive swimming at age 8. His relentless determination took him through 10 years of professional swimming and into the North York Aquatics Club National team competing in Canada and the USA. During his high school education, he also became an assistant coach at Earl Haig Secondary School and Crestwood Preparatory College.
After his swimming career and leading into his higher education, he was an assistant coach and Lifesaving Swim instructor at a number of locations around the GTA, teaching individuals and groups from age 4 to 85. In total, Ronald has accumulated over 6 years of experience teaching young, enthusiastic first-timers all the way up to seasoned athletes, passing on his knowledge.
Ronald believes in a bodyweight workout, with swimming providing an alternative to the traditionally weighted regiments. Swimming is not only a life skill but also a life sport you can continue through the years.
