Toronto Mayor John Tory visited the Oak Room at the Cambridge Club for breakfast this morning.
Our guess is that despite the bitter cold, the alluring smells from our kitchen attracted the Mayor - after all the Oak Room Restaurant is mere steps away from Mayor Tory's office at City Hall.
Like many of our Cambridge Members, Mayor Tory joined us for a business breakfast, all while keeping a watchful eye on the city (the Oak Room does boast a phenomenal view overlooking Nathan Phillips Square).
John was accompanied by Cambridge Club Member Chris Eby, who interestingly enough is the son of one of Cambridge's 'Founding Fathers,' Peter Eby.
Our own fearless leader, President & CEO Clive Caldwell, couldn't resist the urge for a photo-op and is seen posed above on the left for his own "selfie" with the Mayor.
We're hoping it's only a matter of time before Mayor Tory will make his return to the Cambridge Club, perhaps next time we can help assist with those "Living Well" resolutions we all aspire to at the start of a new year.
