Willie Albert is the most recent addition to Adelaide Club
’s personal training staff and his personality and background are as dynamic as his workout routines!
Willie is into his second decade of personal training. He began his career with a chain in Ottawa before successfully branching out into his own space. His own space evolved into his own CrossFit and Barbell gym.
Willie has always believed that to be a true success at life, you have to follow your passion. Following his passion for fitness is what led him to personal training. Helping others to realize their own potential, helping as many people as possible discover their own passion for a healthy lifestyle is what it does it for Willie. “Helping people achieve their goals and seeing those changes change their lives in unexpected ways is always great!”
So is that all there is to Coach Willie? Not even close! Willie teaches Adelaide Club Strength Lab
! The classes are high-intensity and a lot of fun! “Each class usually involves exposing people to movements they haven’t done and are difficult to learn on your own,” says Willie. “That’s very gratifying.”
Willie doesn’t believe that he has a “niche market” per se, but given his training, he does tend to focus on barbell and calisthenics. That is just fine with Willie. In fact, it’s in-line with his own fitness goals. Willie competed nationally and internationally in Powerlifting from 2001-2011, and he’d like to get back on that national/global stage.
“Adelaide Club Members and team are fantastic. I couldn’t ask for a better group from whom to learn and to share my own knowledge!” says Willie.
