David Slade is one of the exciting, new additions to the Adelaide Club personal training team
! David is from England, where he started life as a less than healthy child. Turning his life around was a conscious decision and from then on, he was hooked on health! “Exercise is the best gift that you can give yourself!” says David.
David’s passion for health and fitness quickly lead him to a career in personal training. Seeing people achieve their goals physically, seeing their accomplishments affect their mood and confidence, is David’s biggest reward. He also appreciates the relationship that builds between the trainer and the client.
While David is there to help a broad spectrum of clients, he really enjoys incorporating martial arts—kickboxing and grappling—wherever possible. David also likes to work with individuals who are struggling with weight loss and he has had great success in this area. David is always looking for ways to improve his own diet, and he has found that approaching weight loss as a team makes any realistic goal 100% achievable.
David hasn’t been with Adelaide Club
for very long, but so far, he is extremely impressed with the overall positive environment! The welcoming, positive energy is exactly what every gym or club should have, in David’s opinion. “The gym should not be a chore or intimidating for anyone,” says David. “Adelaide Club represents that communal feel in spades.”
