Since opening it’s doors back in 1964, the Markland Wood Golf Club has been a member-owned private golf club catering to local residents and families in Toronto’s west end. Running north and south of Bloor Street, the course occupies 100 acres of pristine parkland property bordering the Etobicoke Creek river valley.
Cambridge Group of Clubs COO, Dean Brown is thrilled with the reciprocal privilege available to CGoC Members, “We are delighted to begin our third season with Markland Wood as a reciprocal golf partner of the Cambridge Group of Clubs. The course really is a hidden gem, and the proximity to the downtown core can’t be beat. We are constantly looking for avenues to expand our reciprocal program and the addition of Markland Wood to our golf program has been a huge success.”
Through the reciprocal offer, CGoC members are able to call and reserve a tee time through the MWGC Proshop at applicable guest fee rates. The privilege can also extend to your network as you are permitted to bring guests during the times in which CGoC members can play. Practice facilities, locker rooms and restaurant access are available when a time is booked. For further details, please click here.
“Getting the chance to take care of the members of the Cambridge Group of Clubs has been a welcome opportunity to spread the word about the club”, says Membership & Marketing Manager, Liam O’Neil. “Toronto is very fortunate to have so many wonderful golf clubs. It’s been great to see CGoC members come and discover what we are all about!”
The Cambridge Group of Clubs’ has been so pleased with our relationship that we are hosting our annual Cambridge Group of Clubs Golf Day in support of Urban Squash Toronto, for the second year in a row. The event will take place on Monday, July 10th. Limited spots are still available.
