We asked Marysia a few questions to get to know her better:
Q. What is your training style?
A. High energy, warm, and friendly! You can count on me to always be there waiting for you at 6.45 am with a smile.
Q. What’s your favourite way to sweat?
A. On the ice as a hockey goalie with a close second being in the cycle studio.
Q. Which classes do you teach at the club? Give us a little description of how you structure the class.
A. Total Body Energizer – this class got designed to add a jolt of energy to your early Thursday morning and ensure every muscle gets the opportunity to work. I also have two cycle classes that are a steady build that transitions from circuits to sprints, to hills and strong, powerful bursts.
Q. Best thing about being an instructor?
A. After 30 years of teaching, the best thing is seeing my participants get really into my class and leave a lot of sweat on the floor.
Q. Best piece of advice you’ve received?
A. If you learn from an injury, you’ll always come out stronger and better prepared to get back on the court of fitness.
