Dione Mason is one of the Adelaide Club’s dynamic fitness instructors. She teaches on Mondays at 1:00pm in the Power Studio. See what she has to say about her program style as well as her own training regime.
Q. What is your training style?
A. My training style is dynamic, challenging and motivating. I teach 9 different formats and class structure and programming varies by the type of format.
Q. What’s your favourite way to sweat?
A. Dancing is my favourite way to sweat. It’s fun and lifts your spirit.
Q. Which classes do you teach at the club? Give us a little description of how you structure the class.
A. I teach Dance Fusion: a fusion of African, Urban and Latin rhythms to get your heart pumping and your feet stomping. This dance fitness class is taught in a “follow me” style format.
Q. Best thing about being an instructor?
A. I love seeing the immediate and long term benefits of helping people live their best life today. There is nothing more gratifying then inspiring someone to be the best they can be.
Q. Best piece of advice you’ve received?
A. Stay true to yourself and stick to your vision.
