This is the time of year when many of us embark upon new fitness goals. As weeks pass, we try to find ways to maintain the same level of motivation we started with in order to be successful and enjoy all the benefits that come with being fit. In my fitness journey, I've learned that one of the number one predictors of exercise adherence is support. There are loads of complex reasons why that would be and how that support looks. There's social support by joining a running club or group ex class, moral support from friends or family members, as well as the dynamic support offered by a personal trainer. Yes, I’m biased when it comes to the effects of using a personal trainer, but here are some important facts:
- Personal trainers can be pivotal in helping you get what you want.
- Goal attainment is achievable.
- You are going to be challenged in ways you may not be able to challenge yourself.
- Everyone needs some expert advice and support.
Although everyone can benefit tremendously from one-on-one training support, it's also true that others would prefer another route. That's why the Adelaide Club now has some additional amazing options to support your personal fitness goals. Effective one-on-one training doesn’t have to mean 2-3 sessions a week. We can help you with 2-3 sessions period.
