"I have been working with Mike Savage since April 2018, when I made a decision to invest in myself and start to get healthier.  In that time, I have lost 40lbs and now that I have reached my goal weight have been able to maintain it for the past 4 months.  I now also feel stronger than ever before and have much more energy.  Mike's holistic approach stresses the importance of healthy eating, sleep for recovery, and active lifestyle (on non-workout days) helped me reach my goals.  Naturally from a personal trainer I expected help with my fitness and exercise, but with his knowledge with nutrition, he also helped coach me to incorporate healthy eating patterns into my life.  I now lift weights 3 x per week and each session is tailored to my individual needs and limitations.  I used to loathe lifting weights as I found it boring and intimidating, but Mike's guidance and ability to teach has made me more confident in the gym.  I am surprised to find that for the first time in my life I look forward to strength training more than cardio type exercise.  He is excellent at turning motivation into results and helping you maintain your motivation.  This results in consistency, which ultimately leads to your training goal." – Cheryl G.

"With the arrival of my 50's, it was time to take a serious rethink about my level of fitness and my overall appearance.  Working hard at my desk for all these years had taken serious toll on my posture.  Rushing around after work to take my kids to various activities meant lots of meals (mostly unhealthy ones) on the run.  This had left me about 50 lbs from where I should be.  Still feeling too young to be hunched over and feeling sluggish, I decided a change was in order.  I was at a loss as to where to start.  That's when I met Mike.  Right from the start our conversation focused on my goals.  Not just working out, but when, what, and how to I was fueling my body.  Mike's approach to coaching, both in the gym, and nutritionally left me feeling inspired and motivated to make better choices.  I've been working with Mike for about 10 months now and the changes are pretty dramatic.  While close to my target 50 lbs weight-loss, my lean muscle mass has increased significantly, and even better than that, my body fat is down over 10%.  Mike is a true professional.  He is never afraid to call me out on bad form so that I continue to focus on doing the exercises correctly for maximum effect.  He has a friendly and open coaching style that never makes me feel overwhelmed.  My training program is varied and always progressive, allowing me to stay interested and focused.  While my journey will continue for some time yet, I just want to say, "thanks Mike!" for helping to keep me inspired." – Denis O.

"Mike is extremely professional.  He runs both individual and small group sessions with us squash professionals with ease.  He is very organized and creative in his approach to our improvement.  I have been working with him on increasing my power and speed and felt the results from our hard work translate onto the court.  I feel lighter and faster, and more in control of my body.  My goal is to work my way up the world rankings, picking off one player at a time by being able to keep a higher pace for longer than my opponents.  I'm extremely happy working with Mike to get me there.  I value his innovative approach to the exercises we do, his attitude, and his personal experience as a high-performance athlete." – Sam C.

"Mike rose to the tough task of working with me as I have always put fitness first and don't need motivation.  I have one simple goal, to keep running.  With Mike, I continue to run without injury, and have the unexpected result of feeling stronger and more powerful while running.  The workouts Mike programs are fun and challenging.  He makes changes to keep it interested.  Mike is knowledgeable and loves a challenge.  He constantly works to ensure my training program is effective.  Thank you, Mike." – Marjorie K.

"I started working with Mike Savage in September 2017, hoping to increase my strength, endurance, and speed on the squash court, with the ultimate goal of getting my world ranking closer to number 1.  May of 2017 was the start of my off-season, so I had lots of time to focus on my fitness with Mike.  I started training consistently for the summer months doing squash specific fitness work 2-3 times per week.  When my season began in September, I was playing the best squash I have ever played and felt great on court.  I was beating girls ranked top 30 and 40 in the world, made it the semi-finals of a tournament I was seeded to lose in the first round, qualified for my first ever $50,000 event, won my first ever pro event, became PSA player of the month for December 2017, and won my first professional doubles event  Best start to the season I could have asked for.  Mike has pushed my to achieve my goals and inspires me to be a better athlete.  His workouts are always tough yet motivating.  Seeing how passionate he is about helping his clients gives me full confidence that he truly cares about my goals and whether I succeed or not.  I am very impressed with Mike's knowledge and willingness to adapt to his clients needs.  Without his dedication and motivating personality, I would not be where I am today.  I plan on working with Mike for the rest of my squash career and cannot thank him enough for his ongoing support.  I give him the highest recommendations!" – Nikki T.

"In 2009 I was diagnosed with a herniated disc and a bulging disc.  Working out with Mike has been a huge part of my regaining an active lifestyle, and life back again.  Mike is incredibly attentive to exercise technique, and carefully selects specific exercises to fit in with my limitations.  No matter what is going on with my back, I get a fantastic workout.  From not being able to stand, to now cycling and hiking long distances again, is for sure a credit to Mike.  He loves what he does, and it shows!  Thanks Mike, I owe ya!" – Sarah O.

"Mike Savage is the complete trainer!  Whether you are looking for some general fitness or to take your training to the next level, there is no one better than Mike.  His athletic background complemented with his fitness knowledge qualifications, and competitive nature, brings out the best in every training session.  Mike was able to take me from a washed-up living in the past athlete, watching way too much T.V, into an energized, healthy triathlete who continues to check things off my bucket list.  He becomes so invested in helping you achieve your goals that Mike even completed the 24-hour Navy Seal Challenge with me!  Couldn't have done it without you mate!" – Scott G.

"Great to work with.  I have worked with Mike for over a year and lost almost 70 pounds.  He has put me into the best shape I've been in since my early 30's.  He designed me a disciplined training program, which he frequently updates to align with my changing capabilities.  He is thoughtful and well prepared.  He is also demanding, but never unreasonably so.  I found Mike wanted for what I wanted for myself.  He genuinely invests himself in the process and is continuously inspirational.  I can't imagine a better training experience." – Daniel L.

"I've been working with Mike for over a year now and it has truly been a fantastic experience.  When first meeting Mike, there is an immediate comfort level established through his approach.  His passion, enthusiasm and fitness knowledge are second to none.  He truly cares about his clients and takes pride in their accomplishments.  Training with Mike feels like training with a friend that wants the best for me.  His expert guidance on exercise and nutrition have really made positive impacts in all facets of my life.  Mike hasn't just changed my mind and body, he's changed my life." – Griffen R.
