Movement has always been a preoccupation, a source of fascination and an integral part of Jen’s being. The human body is both a complicated mechanical machine and a work of art. Its inner workings are only fractionally understood but the generated actions should be something palpable and fully experienced. Jen wants to help people move more efficiently. There is any art and science involved in fine tuning the body so it will run like a machine and be experienced viscerally like a work of art. The understanding that everything is connected to everything else is also vital and training the body with that in mind will broaden the sphere of what is possible. Working with these ideas can bring individuals closer to achieving their fitness goals no matter what they may be.
One of the tools at her disposal is using knowledge gained from studying MAT. Muscle Activation Techniques is a “specific and unique process for evaluating an individual’s ability to produce efficient muscle contraction. Loss of muscle contraction results in a decreased range of motion and, therefore, decreased physical performance.”
Jen’s dedication to learning is incredible and her learning never stops and she finds information from many sources.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE SHE'S EVER RECEIVED:
FAVOURITE WORKOUT SONG:
I don't workout with music and work to the soundtrack of my surroundings. "Work It" by Missy Elliott would be a good one though.
FAVOURITE CHEAT MEAL:
I don't have 'cheat' meals. Eat what you need most of the time. Eat what you want some of the time.
