Dave started developing his passion for fitness through Martial Arts, which he participated in for 8 years and taught for 3. Throughout high school, he began lifting weights and running to help increase his strength and endurance. Since then he has accomplished many incredible feats:
- First-degree black belt in karate in 1997
- Completed first marathon in 2003
- First powerlifting contest in 2005
- First strongman contest in 2007, and has continued to compete: 1st in Woodstock (2010), 2nd in Montreal (2011), 2nd in Woodstock (2016)
Dave has an impressive background in strength training technique and programming. He also has extensive training in techniques to improve flexibility/mobility to assist your range of motion, everyday movement, and injury prevention. Injury prevention is always top of mind and of paramount important for all of his clients and personal fitness. When you work with Dave, you are under exceptional care and detail and he ensures each client is being educated about movement and their body.

I wouldn't say that I really subscribe to "cheat meals," but if I had to choose a meal that i love that I wouldn't consume on a regular basis it would be a Caesar salad and rare steak with a baked potato and a glass of red wine.
