MESSAGE FROM MATT
Matt Cassells

We hope you can join us on May 31st at Stratus for our Spring member party. Celebrating spring’s arrival in style - great food, great people and an incredible view! - Party starts at 6 pm.

The TAC is proud to support and partner with the Bike for Tykes again this year. This year’s charity spin-a-thon is raising funds to improve the lives of children with cancer.  100% of all funds raised, yes, 100%, will be allocated toward the construction of the Garron Family Cancer, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine Neighbourhood within the Research and Learning Tower Project at the Hospital for Sick Children. Be sure to circle June 21st in your calendar and click on the link to register your team! www.bikefortykes.com

As I mentioned in the April’s eNews, we are excited to launch a golf training program here at the TAC. Norm Moote, a 28 year CPGA teaching professional, will be utilizing Trackman, a phenomenal piece of training equipment that measures a number of different criteria related to a successful, repeatable golf swing. Lessons are available, Monday – Friday from 8 to  11 am and 2 to 5 pm. For more information, or to schedule your first session with Norm - n.moote@cogeco.ca.

Please join me in welcoming Naturopathic doctor, Marc Bubbs to the Toronto Athletic Club Sport Medicine Clinic. His focus will be on IV therapies to help members/athletes with preparation and recovery from endurance training and events. Triathletes, marathoners, ultra-marathoners and cyclists have sought out these services from Dr. Bubbs across the city, and now they are available here at the TAC. He will have hours on both Monday's and Friday's. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call the Clinic 416.865.0903.

See you at the Club.

Matt
