AQUATICS PROGRAM
Gorgeous 25 yards, 4 lanes and the only swimming pool in a club in the downtown core!

AQUAFITNESS
Exercising in the water provides a well balanced workout that improves all major components of fitness: cardiovascular training, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition. Water buoyancy creates a reduced impact exercise alternative that is easy on the joints, while the water’s resistance challenges the muscles.

Aquafitness is perfect for all fitness levels – whether you are a beginner, a non-swimmer or an advanced athlete! Aqua Personal Training is also available.

Stephanie Rauhut has been an aquatics enthusiast her entire life! She brings over ten years of experience to the TAC, and has taught swimmers of all ages and abilities - from toddlers to seniors. She believes in the importance of proper technique to enjoy a lifetime of swimming. Whether you are working towards a specific goal, are looking for a fun way to improve your overall fitness, or are looking for some tips on technique, Stephanie can help you meet and exceed your challenge.

Stephanie has just recently moved to Toronto from Montreal, where she was the Aquatics Director and Junior Programme Coordinator at the Club Sportif MAA. While at the MAA, she coached the Junior Swim Team and Masters Swim Team, taught and coordinated group lessons, and helped numerous members meet their individual goals through private and semi-private swim training. Stephanie competes in triathlons, and has plenty of experience to offer for open water swimmers as well!

MASTER'S SWIM
The Toronto Athletic Club has a competitive Members’ Master’s Swim Program. Whether you are hoping to do your first triathlon this summer or are entering your 5th Iron man, scheduled workouts and coached sessions will really help your stroke!

SWIM TRAINING
Swimming is one of the safest and most effective forms of exercise, engaging all the major muscle groups (e.g., shoulders, back, abdominals, legs, hips, glutes) while placing very little stress on bones and joints. Swimming combines the benefits of aerobic exercise with anaerobic exercise and resistance training, building endurance, strength and cardiovascular fitness and improving posture and flexibility.

Swimming is suitable for people of all ages and ability levels. It can be used to improve fitness and range of motion, as rehabilitation after an injury, or as cross-training. Whether you would like to master basic skills, improve your stroke, train for a triathlon or learn how you can complement your current fitness regime, we create tailored training to help you achieve your personal goals.
